The conference "Civil Society and the Non- Europe Debate: What breaks Europe?" is part of the Project "Joint Citizen Action for a Stronger, Citizen-Friendly Union", funded by the Europe for Citizens Programme of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency promoted by the European Commission. The project coordinates citizens debate and action in eleven European Union member States, one candidate and one potential candidate countries. In these discussions with a number of topics whose common link is more and better knowledge of civic participation in the democratic life of the European Union, the aim is the strengthen European citizenship, focusing on the upcoming elections to the European Parliament in 2014.
